My name is Brice Bounds, and I am incredibly excited to join the team in the coming weeks. I am originally from Louisiana, but I moved to Virginia to pursue my academic and athletic career at Old Dominion University. I recently wrapped up a 16-year swimming career that actually started on a summer league team just like this one. Having the opportunity to join this team brings me right back to when I was a kid, and I'm thrilled to be able to give back to a sport that I was a part of for so long. I can't wait to meet you all soon and have a fun, successful season!
Hi, my name is Dylan Chen and I have been a member of the Carpenter Village Hammerheads since 2013. I look forward to concluding my swim career as your coach this season. I enjoy coaching because it feels full circle for me. My favorite memory from swim team is winning Cary City races quite a few times and dropping my 50 breaststroke time to do so. Looking forward to meeting you all and creating your own special swim team memories.
My name is Dani Sande Fernandez and I have been a Hammerhead since 2021, so this will be my 6th year on the team, and my 3rd year coaching. I enjoy coaching because it always teaches me new things about swimming when showing other people, even as a year-round swimmer. One of my favorite memories from swim team is getting the team record in the 11-12 boys relay. I look forward to meeting all of you and having a great memorable season!
Hi, my name is Josh Misra, and I love competing in sports like badminton, volleyball, and swimming! I swam year-round with TAC Titans for six years and have also been swimming with Carpenter Village for the past five years. I’m most excited about getting to know the swimmers and building relationships that will last both in and out of the pool.
My name is Bella Savinsky. I'm going into high school this fall at Green Hope. I've been part of the Hammerheads swim team for 8 years. I also swam year round for a few years at different clubs before taking a break to follow my passion for soccer. I am excited to be a coach for the Hammerheads! I'm looking forward to all the meets and practices and just getting to send time at the pool with everyone. My goals are to get to know everyone and just have a really fun season.
I'm 14 years old and will be attending Green Hope High School in the fall. I love telling jokes (especially Dad jokes), eating, and playing sports with my friends. I can often be found in the alley playing a game of wiffleball or tennis wars. You might also see me in the neighborhood walking my dog, Tessie. I've been a Hammerhead since 2021. I was a junior coach last year and really enjoy working with the younger swimmers. I'm excited to welcome new swimmers and help them improve their times.
Hi, my name is Stella Haisty, and I love to swim and listen to music. I've been a Hammerhead since 2016, and this will be my second year as a junior coach. I swam year round at Raleigh Swimming Association for about three years, and my favorite stroke is butterfly. I'm looking forward to contributing to the Hammerheads community this season as a junior coach, helping people improve their swimming this season, and having fun!
