Practice Rules
CV HOA Rules dictate that Swimmers under the age of 13 MUST have a parent, legal guardian, or approved caregiver (age 18 or older) to be present during swim practice. If you leave the pool during swim practice and your child is aged 12 years or younger, your swimmer will not be able to attend practice and we will call you to pick them up.
Our coaches are working with a lot of swimmers and are not responsible for childcare before, during, or after practice.
All swimmers and families must abide by our Code of Conduct and all CV HOA Pool Rules.
Practice Attendance Expectations
Swim season is very short, so we do hold frequent practices and we encourage your swimmer to attend as many practices as possible. You will be amazed at how their strokes and times improve by attending practice regularly! However, there is no minimum requirement of number of days to attend practice. We understand if you have other commitments, and just ask you to come as often as you can.
Practice Times
Monday, Tuesday (before meets begin), Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
5:00-5:30pm 6 and under
5:30-6:00pm 7-8
6:00-6:40pm 9-10
6:40-7:20pm 11-12
7:20-8:00pm 13 and up
No Practice On:
Friday, May 22 (Friday before Memorial Day)
Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day)
Friday, July 3 (Independence Day)
