Team Suits
Suits are pictured below. You can purchase through our suit supplier, which is very helpful if you are new to the team &/or do not know your size. Kiefer will get you fitted for the right suit. You are also welcome to purchase a similar suit elsewhere, we just ask that your suit is black and kelly green:

Team Caps
At swim meets, we recommend swimmers wear swim caps. Swimmers are not allowed to wear swim caps from other swim teams as per TSA rules. The cap must either be a team swim cap, or a basic non-logo swim cap.
We have two options for team swim caps: latex and silicone.
Both options are available at our Team Store page for purchase!
Latex Swim Cap with Hammerheads Logo:
- Breathability & Weight: They are much thinner and lighter, making them significantly cooler and more breathable in warm water.
- Cost: Highly budget-friendly, making them ideal for large swim teams, beginners, or occasional use.
- Fit: Very stretchy, but because they are made from one-size-fits-all material, they can bunch up into wrinkles. They also offer a tighter, "tuggier" grip on the scalp.
- Downsides: They are fragile, prone to tearing, and degrade quickly when exposed to chlorine and sunlight. Additionally, they can cause allergic reactions in swimmers with latex sensitivities.
Silicone Swim Caps with Hammerheads Logo:
- Durability: Highly resilient and tear-resistant; with proper care, they can last for months or years.
- Comfort & Hair Care: The smooth, rubbery texture stretches easily and is much less likely to snag or pull on hair.
- Fit: Often available in multiple shapes (including contoured and long-hair designs). They grip well and maintain a sleek, wrinkle-free hydrodynamic shape.
- Downsides: They are more expensive. The thicker material can trap heat, which can become uncomfortable during long swims in warmer pools.
Many competitive swimmers keep both on hand: a durable silicone cap for daily practices and a lightweight latex cap for race day.
