The Mock Meet is a practice meet that helps to familiarize with the meet set-up, test all our equipment, obtain times for swimmers so we have data to place swimmers for the competition meets, and to get our annual team picture! Arrive at 4:45 for warm-up and team picture with the meet to kick off at 6. Team picture will be at 5:45! |

Swim Stroke Clinic (Breast Stroke, Starts, Turns & Touches)

At our regularly scheduled May 26th practice, we will host a guest coach and stroke clinic. The guest coach will be Coach Patrick Foley from the Marlins of Raleigh (MOR) swim team. This is a great opportunity to get exposure to a professional coach, MOR (year round swim team), and to focus on stroke work. We will focus on breast stroke (super technical stroke) as well as starts and touches for all age groups, and, for the older age groups, we will also add in a focus on turns. Please don't miss this awesome opportunity! |

Assessments for new swimmers will be held Monday May 18th from 5-7. All new swimmers must sign up for a time slot here! All new swimmers must complete a swim assessment prior to starting practice. Please arrive at your allotted time or we may not be able to assess your swimmer. |

Neighbors, save the date for the upcoming Spring Festival! It will be held Sunday, April 12th from 2-6pm. Available for neighbors will be a magic show, face painting, balloon animals, inflatables, a mobile zoo, and pony rides. We will also have several vendors (fairy hair for purchase) and food trucks! Pawfect Match is coming and bringing puppies available for adoption and accepting donations of pet supplies. If you have any questions about the neighborhood summer swim team, there will be many volunteers to answer your questions - just look out for the Hammerheads T-shirts! |
